Too respond to the needs of our community: we propose a new turf surface field and grass practice field.

To assist the community we are proposing to install a turf main field and a natural grass training field at the current location. This upgrade would be the only multi purpose field available in east Saint John. These upgrades would include subgrade drainage and updated playing surface that would take the brunt of the weather and still allow our teams to play the sports on a local field.

Local use of the field!!

Area sport teams such as: Fundy Minor Football, Atom, Peewee and Bantam Teams, Wander’s Mens Football Team, Stomp Womens Football Team, Saint John Minor Soccer, Mens and Womens Rugby.

Local use of the field!!

Simonds High School Sport Teams including: Girls Field Hockey, Boys Football, Four Soccer Teams, Mens Rugby, Womens Rugby, Physical Education Classes, and Intermural Sports programs.

Other community activities!!

In addition to sport teams using thefield, other community based activities take place on the field, such as: runners and joggers do laps, playing baseball, hitting golf balls, playing ultimate frisbee, recreational soccer, touch football and local people walking their dogs on this nice open area in our city.
